Volunteers

Karuna Hospice Service has a long history associated with our valued volunteers. They have been a foundational support since our inception in 1992.

We are currently working towards rebuilding our volunteer program to ensure:

• we provide our volunteers with meaningful roles and opportunities;
• we have sustainable, safe and quality processes and procedures;
• the rights of volunteers are protected and that they are supported to carry out their roles and responsibilities.

We are currently not accepting volunteering enquiries whilst we navigate through this transitional period.

There are still several ways you can engage with Karuna by:

• Attending our events e.g. weekly Wednesday meditation, Annual Memorial Service etc.
• Organising a fundraiser in your community to support Karuna’s services
• Signing up to our Newsletter
• Following our social media pages (Facebook or Instagram)
