Together we can
make a difference
Your support means so much
For nearly 30 years Karuna has helped thousands of Queenslanders with a terminal illness be where they want to be; with family and friends in the comfort of their own home.
Patients just like David Turner, who died less than two months ago peacefully at home.
“David always knew he wanted to spend his final days at home surrounded by the people he loved and thanks to support of Karuna, we could honor his dying wish. I will be forever grateful to the amazing support the nurses and Dr Sue showed us during the hardest time of our family’s life”.
Denise, partner of Karuna patient David
In order to help more families, we urgently need to raise funds to employ another medical practitioner like Dr Sue.
Whilst there is no charge to patients for Karuna’s service, a high quality palliative care service comes at a cost. And with limited government funding, it is only with the help of our generous donors that we are able to ensure our service can continue.
