World Book Day

Today is World Book Day.

Karuna’s Family Support Team, including Social Worker Theresa and Spiritual Care Practitioner Venerable Gonpo, often use books when they connect with patients and families.

Books can be a helpful resource for people navigating death, grief, and loss. They offer different perspectives, validate feelings, and provide practical tools for difficult moments.

Some of the books our team recommends include:

  • How to Carry What Can’t Be Fixed: A Journal for Grief by Megan Devine
  • The Happiness Trap by Dr Russ Harris
  • In My Heart: A Book of Feelings by Jo Witek
  • The Invisible String by Patrice Karst

We want to say a special thank you to the Miracle Made Foundation for kindly donating these new books for our team to use. ❤️
