The Quilting Queens annual Christmas Stall is returning to Brookside Shopping Centre on Saturday 22 November from 8.00am – 1.00pm.
Each year, the Quilting Queens made up of local sisters Rosemary, Geraldine, Carmel and Delia, create homemade goods all in the name of charity.
The stall is a great opportunity to purchase unique and affordable presents for family, friends and teachers.
This year, the stall will include Christmas themed items including bunting, table décor (runners and placemats), as well as quilts, crafter bags, pot mits, hand towels, hats, phone bags, pencil cases and covered notebooks.
New to the stall this year are swim and book bags for kids. The 3 for $10 mix and match will also be available and includes scrunchies, coin and tissue purses, lanyards, keyfobs and much more!
To honour their sister Maureen who passed away in 2021, the Quilting Queens host two stalls throughout the year with all funds raised donated to Karuna Hospice Service.
Karuna provides in-home palliative care to patients and families in north Brisbane and supported Maureen and her family during her diagnosis.
