Supporting our community.

Where we provide care

Karuna provides free, community‑based, home‑visiting palliative care across Brisbane’s northern suburbs – extending to Caboolture, Redcliffe, Bribie Island and surrounding areas. Our carer, spiritual and emotional support also extends to various locations in Greater Brisbane and Queensland.

Whether you or a loved one are facing a life‑limiting illness, seeking spiritual care, or looking for support along the journey – Karuna is here to help, within reach.

In-Home Palliative Care

We provide in-home palliative care to people living in Brisbane Northside and extending to Caboolture, Redcliffe and Bribie Island.

Spiritual and Emotional Care

Spiritual care is available to people anywhere in Queensland. This includes:

  • Individuals and families affected by life-limiting illness, grief, or loss
  • People experiencing carer fatigue, existential or spiritual distress
  • Culturally diverse and vulnerable populations, including First Nations peoples and LGBTIQ+ communities
  • Health professionals and community groups seeking training or support
  • This service is delivered online, via phone, or in person depending on your location and needs. You don’t need to be receiving palliative care to access our spiritual care. Self-referral is welcomed and encouraged.
