The Dalai Lama is a wonderful example of the kind of person we all want to be — happy, smiling, warm and relaxed in all circumstances.
And yet this does not just happen, these qualities need to be cultivated.
Buddhist meditation is an ancient practice that has evolved through the ages. The benefits of meditation are now scientifically proven; and it is not necessary to be a Buddhist to experience them.
Karuna has been teaching meditation to our clients and staff since we began fifteen years ago. We are now offering our courses more widely, extending the benefit to the broader community.
We teach the meditation techniques used by the Dalai Lama to create a happier, more peaceful life. Karuna’s courses are all led by our Buddhist Nuns or Teachers specially trained in the Mahayana tradition, the Buddhist tradition of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama.
